The stay was incredible from start to finish. The staff were extremely helpful, caring (even gave us an umbrella whilst we were walking out the main door as it was raining one of the days) and accommodating - they were so good with our 2 year old. It’s the perfect location for a family especially with young children. The main station/ metros etc. are all within a few minutes walk and only a few stops away from the Duomo which was perfect. We also hopped on a short train to Lake Como for the day! We had one of the newer rooms on floor 5 which was very comfortable, quiet, roomy and even included a free mini bar! I’d recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely be returning if we visit Milan again!

The location is close to Central Station but far enough away from the crowds, on a lovely street in a quaint neighborhood. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, including the man who worked at the bar the evening I was there. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in till the moment I left. You can pre-order items to be placed in your room before your arrival, and everything I asked for was there. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in Milan, and Hotel Berna was the first to do that. I had a single room with a very comfortable bed, nice-sized bathroom, and lovely view to the rear courtyard. Everything was nice and clean. I felt very much at home. Thank you!

This is my 2nd time staying at the hotel. Affordable rates for my stay. Staff were kind and friendly. Very helpful when the fan and tv in my room wasn’t working, they tried to have it fixed. When it couldn’t be fixed in time, they kindly offered an alternative room. Room in the main hotel was clean and safe. Hotel is near to Milano centrale station. And hotel staff gave helpful travel advice e.g metro to get to the airport. Hotel breakfast buffet variety was great and more than sufficient. If I was staying in Milan, I would stay here again.

The hotel is in a great position walking distance from the railway station. The staff were absolutely amazing & spoke good English. For us Australians this was a real bonus. The staff were so accommodating nothing was too much trouble. There were little extras around -a free tea & coffee station. Happy hour included free substantial nibbles that were great after a tiring day sightseeing. It is not the fanciest hotel but would rate as a home away from home comfortable hotel that won’t break the bank. I would highly recommend the Berna hotel

Felt very safe and secure and was a one minute walk from the metro exit. About 4/5 mins to central train station. The room had a window overlooking some garden area and there was birdsong, I didn’t expect this in Milan. Free drinks given in room fridge. Free wifi. Luggage storage facility was efficient. Room was more spacious than I expected. Excellent shower pressure and temperature.
